JPAS Welcomes Allison Drazin as its 1st Official Hire

July 20, 2026: The Jewish Parent Alliance in Schools (JPAS) is pleased to announce that Allison Draizin has joined the organization as its Education and Partnership Consultant, JPAS's first official hire.
Draizin brings more than 30 years of experience in private and public schools as a teacher, coach, facilitator, and parent educator. She spent 13 years at Bank Street School for Children in New York City, where she served as World Languages Team Leader and a member of Faculty Council, designing curriculum at the intersection of language acquisition, social-emotional learning, and experiential education. After October 7, she co-founded the school's first Faculty Jewish Affinity Group.
She is a PCI Certified Parent Coach® and Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator, and a Rye Country Day School alumna and private school parent herself, giving her a rare, multi-perspective understanding of how school communities and family relationships actually work.
At JPAS, Draizin is leading the organization's educational architecture: building the frameworks, training, and tools that help parents engage constructively with their children's schools on questions of Jewish identity and belonging.
