JPAS Events

JPAS brings parents together online and in person to learn from one another, hear from partners, and build confidence to engage with their school communities. Parents decide whether, when, and how to engage. Our Zoom sessions are open to parents anywhere, so feel free to share.

Monday, November 2, 7:00–8:00 PM ET · Zoom

Individual Stories. Collective Insight.

Join JPAS and Josh Herst, founder of Stop Hate in Schools, a nonprofit dedicated to tracking, understanding, and addressing anti-Jewish bias and harm in K–12 schools.
It's an interactive conversation about the value of sharing experiences and how parents decide whether, when, and how to share. Through real-life examples, we’ll consider what individual experiences can reveal about curriculum choices, historical context, bullying, antisemitism, Jewish identity, and belonging in K–12 schools.
Your Experience Matters. Your Perspective Adds Insight.

Thursday, December 3, 6:00–8:00 PM ET

Coming in January

Join JPAS Advisory Council member Dr. Tara Liberman, Founder and Executive Director of JCMHI, for a conversation about parenting during a time of rising antisemitism and identity-based hate. Together, we will explore how these experiences affect us as individuals and parents, and how we can support ourselves and our children. Join JPAS to be the first to know.
