About JPAS

When something happens at your child's school, Jewish parents turn to JPAS before deciding what to do next.

1. Parents Start with a Question

Many Jewish parents want to engage constructively with their schools but aren’t sure where to start.

2. JPAS Equips Parents

Separate facts from feelings and plan for conversations with teachers and administrators.

3. Parents Decide

Whether, when, and how to engage, grounded in your values and Jewish identity.

What JPAS Offers

Schools provide professional development to faculty and staff. JPAS provides it to parents. As a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit, JPAS educates and prepares parents. When a situation needs more than preparation, we connect families with the right organization to help.

Build Community
The JPAS Kehillah

A national community where Jewish parents connect, share experiences, and are part of a supportive community so no parent feels alone.

Learn and Engage
The JPAS Suite

Trainings, one-pagers, and 1:1 guidance that prepare parents to make sense of antisemitism and Jewish erasure and plan for conversations with their school.

Deepen Understanding
Community Insights

Community Insights organizes the Jewish experience at school. What families share, including what's going well, makes recurring patterns visible and gives parents knowledge and context for conversations with their schools.

Our Story

A private school parent founded JPAS after facing antisemitism firsthand in her own children’s school community, and brought in a fellow parent and career educator with three decades in private schools. Today JPAS is a community of Jewish parents who understand what you’re facing, because they’ve lived it. JPAS has guided 75+ private school communities, including the first private school in New York City to adopt an educationally appropriate definition of antisemitism.
