JPAS began with one parent who faced antisemitism and Jewish erasure in her own children's school community and did not want other parents to have to figure it out alone. What started as one parent helping others has grown into a community, a Kehillah, that helps Jewish parents make sense of what's happening before deciding what to do next

Mission

JPAS advances Jewish identity and belonging in private K–12 schools by preparing Jewish parents to engage constructively with their schools.

Vision

A future in which Jewish students and families belong and are understood in the fullness and complexity of their identities, where Jewish history, life, and the Jewish people’s connection to Israel are taught with integrity, context, and nuance.

JPAS has supported 60+ school communities across the tri-state area, including guiding the first private school in New York to adopt an IHRA-based antisemitism definition, and was selected for ADL's inaugural HAZAK Jewish Venture Accelerator.
